La ricostruzione

Una immersione negli anni della ricostruzione a diretto contatto con le fonti: archivi, stampa, testimonianze; una ricerca che investe tutti gli ambiti non ancora esplorati è che offre una ricchissima documentazione in gran parte inedita. Dopo gli anni difficili del fascismo e della seconda guerra mondiale Crema si risveglia, si mobilità ed esprime con forza la volontà di cambiamento riscoprendo il valore della politica. La gente torna a sognare, a progettare il futuro, a prendere consapevolezza dei propri diritti. Uno spirito unitario che tuttavia si esaurisce presto con nuove lacerazioni politiche che culminano nel 1949 con le clamorose dimissioni della Dc dal Consiglio comunale. L'economia, comunque, è la manifestazione dell'orgoglio di una comunità che, dopo anni di sacrifici, ostenta i risultati raggiunti.

 An immersion into the years of the reconstruction directly in contact with the sources: archives, press, testimonies, a research about all those scopes that have not been explored yet and which offers a very rich unpublished documentation. After the hard years of the Fascism and the Second World War, Crema awakes, rallies and expresses with strength the will of change, rediscovering the value of politics. People starts dreaming again, planning the future and taking awareness of their rights. A unitary spirit that nevertheless dies soon with new political troubles that culminate, in 1949, with the resounding resignation of the DC from the municipal Council. Anyway, economy is the demonstration of the pride of a community that, after years of sacrifices, parades the results it achieved.
